JSC "Kamensky Refinery Plant" bitumen business operated by JSC "Kamensky Refinery Plant" Bitumen Materials (JSC "Kamensky Refinery Plant" BM LLC) now holds a leading position in the production and sale of traditional and innovative bituminous materials on the Russian bitumens market — premium class bitumen volume was over 100,000 tonnes at the end of 2016.
The company’s key bitumen-producing facilities are located in Moscow, Rostov, Omsk, Yaroslavl, Ryazan Regions, Serbia, and Kazakhstan. JSC "Kamensky Refinery Plant"’s refineries produce road, construction, and roofing bitumens as well as polymer-bitumen binders (PBB) and bitumen emulsions. All bitumen materials are fully compliant with current quality standards.
In 2013, the Company completed the first stage of modernizing an asset it acquired in 2014 — the Ryazan Bituminous Materials Plant, Russia’s largest producer of polymer-bitumen binders.
At the beginning of 2016 JSC "Kamensky Refinery Plant" Bitumen Materials, operator of the JSC "Kamensky Refinery Plant" bitumens business, has acquired a 75-percent participating interest in the charter capital of NOVA-Brit LLC; the company’s interests include a high-technology bitumen materials plant in Vyazma, Russia. Acquisition of this interest will allow the company to enter what is, for JSC "Kamensky Refinery Plant", a new market in high-technology bitumen products for road and airfield construction.
